Programs
Pencilhouse’s flagship program is a low-to-no-cost feedback program, which is principally built around a patronage model. We’re handling that through Patreon for the time being. In sum, we’ll announce an open submissions call for feedback on your creative writing—up to 2 poems or 10 pages of double-spaced prose. Open calls will be available to Pencilhouse patrons first, for 24 hours, after which point we’ll open to the public.
Beyond open calls, Pencilhouse will add additional calls dependent upon capacity, staffing, and other factors that may arise. For up-to-date information check our Patronage page and follow us on Twitter.
Pencilhouse also publishes Zero Readers, a literary journal centered around providing feedback for every submission. It publishes three issues online per year and releases an annual print edition collecting its online editions.
